Severnside Recycling have been shortlisted alongside Marks & Spencer and Shanks Waste Management for the Retail Recycler of the Year Category at the National Recycling Awards.

The National Recycling Awards recognise the achievements of the organisations leading the way in best practice recycling and waste management.

MRW editor Paul Sanderson said: “It is a real achievement to become a finalist at the National Recycling Awards and I’d like to congratulate all of those companies and organisations that have got this far. All of the judges will tell you how hard it is to pick out finalists among the high standard of entries received.

“I’m looking forward to what should be a fantastic night on 15 July, and I hope to see as many of the finalists there as possible.”

The other shortlisted winners for the Retail Recycler of the Year Category are:

• Queensgate Shopping Centre

• Festival Place Shopping Centre

• Atlantic Villiage (Drake Bideford) - in partnership with Cushman & Wakefield

• Hammerson in partnership with PDM

• Coca-Cola Enterprises - Westquay Shopping Centre
