Severnside Recycling is the largest fibre recycler in the UK, harvesting circa 1.9 million tonnes of paper and packaging annually, from UK waste streams. Our customers benefit from a wide range of collection possibilities, ranging from simple collections of paper and cardboard through to a total waste management service. Our total waste management service, and indeed all our service offerings, is driven to divert as much waste from landfill as possible. At the heart of this drive is our need to supply the raw material for the group’s production operations. This means we view all waste as a scarce resource and therefore share a common goal with our customers – the need to reduce the amount of waste sent to landfill.

As part of the DS Smith Group, Severnside make up part of the UK’s premier integrated paper and packaging organisation. This recovered material provides our group's paper mills, St Regis Paper Company, with the raw materials needed for its production process.

Our customers range from thousands of SME’s, public service sector organisations, local and national government, through to some of the UK’s best known brand names. Operations are carried out through 18 of our own Recycling Facilities combined with a network of over 500 recycling and waste service suppliers. This means that we have the ability to offer a recycling and waste management service the length and breadth of the UK.
