Good effective procedures are essential for
any company to be successful in its business today. Severnside
has taken ideas from some 'best in class' companies and applied
them to recycling and waste facilities management- the Facilities Management Centre, for instance, is based on the ideals set by Direct
Line Insurance who were the first to set up call centres in
this way. With the creation of the Facilities Management Centre in
1998, Severnside had a clean sheet to establish new procedures
aimed at giving the customer what they needed.
Our Materials
Recycling Audit was initiated as the customer document
that Severnside’s services would expand from. This document
forms the background to the customer’s entry on Severnside’s
Client Database, a database that is centrally controlled at
the Facilities Management Centre. From the initial contact with a
prospective client and through the life of the service, details
are logged whenever a contact is made so that we can create
a history specific to each customer and to each site.
